Introduction
This Tutorial will show you how to get a better signal with your iTrip. Be careful, because excessive bending of the exposed wire will cause it to break.
Equipment Needed
- iTrip
- Glue(Optional)
Prerequisites
Before you can mod your iTrip you will need to open it.
Exposing the iTrips Antenna
- After opening your iTrip you should now see the circuit board a peice of wire runnning above it, the peice of wire running above is the Antenna
- Carefully bend the antenna so it faces the other way and make sure it is located through one of the holes at the side of the itrip (beside the rubber grippers)
- Now put the itrip back together with all four rubber grippers in place, you may not need to glue the itrip back together, but if you broke of one of the pins you may.
- Well done you are finished, you should now notice a great improvment in signal strength and quality.
What Now?
If you want to improve signal quality even more you should try the Amplifier Modification for the iTrip.
